Recent graduates and non-degree holding artists, and artists from underrepresented communities are highly encouraged to apply.

I’ve been an artist for 10 years. Can I apply?

Yes! We encourage emerging artists to apply, and the length of your practice does not determine if you are emerging. We define an emerging artist as someone who is consistently creating artwork and do not have representation from a gallery. They are working to develop their artistic voice, grow their exhibition record, and gain gallery representation, honors, grants, and/or publications.

Can my dog be in the studio?

No, unfortunately your pup or any other animal cannot join you in the studio.
